Application and Certification

A candidate will be able to gain certification in one of the following ways:

• Evidence using a CEng or IEng standard or individual route application or report which covers as much of the core requirements detailed above;
• A prepared portfolio of evidence.

Two routes will be provided to gain certification (See Table 2 below). This will be based on the core structure and requirements. After assessment or successful completion of the course, a certificate will be awarded to successful applicants.
