The North East Branch returns with 'Low Carbon Fuels for the Asphalt Industry'

The North East branch made a welcome return to activity last week. The speaker was Niall Parkin of Calor Gas, who presented the topic, 'Low Carbon Fuels for the Asphalt Industry.' Many thanks to Niall for making the trip up to Durham from his base further south.
Around 10 members were in attendance who enjoyed the presentation from Niall and the subsequent Q&A. His presentation is available for download.
There was general agreement to work towards making the branch active on a more regular basis. The intention is to schedule 3 meetings in the first half of 2025 - details will be available in due course. There are challenges ahead. The branch needs new committee members to releive the long-standing office bearers, and also local support to increase attendance at events.
