The evening presentation will commence with Alan Hutchison and Ross Dorward of the Tay Road Bridge Joint Board who will introduce the speakers for the event and present a brief history of the bridge to date and provide context of the work that has recently been carried out.
Speakers from the design team, WSP, main contractor, VolkerLaser, and surfacing contractor, Breedon Group, will cover various aspects of the works undertaken.
This will include the design considerations and improvements to the bridge infrastructure, the application of the full waterproofing system and top deck works along with associated concrete repairs and the coordination of activities aligned with the overall programme, as well as the development and installation of the pavement solution.
