BS 594987 is key for the UK asphalt industry because
either as a standalone document, or when called up by
Specification for Highways Works, it sits at the centre of
asphalt installation. But not always fully appreciated it
was also the place where B510/1 decided to put a
series of annexes which set down the procedures
through which the information for CE / UKCA product
marking of some asphalt mixes is gathered.
