More details Malta's runway 23-05 was refurbished in November and December of 2023. None of the materials specified for the works are standard on the island and thereby all had to be "tailormade" for the job. That would have been easy if the raw materials were available to start with! Two months of intense work, trials, laboratory evaluations and lots of errors led to ... well come and find out!
