Changes to Scottish Branch Events for 2013/14

The Scottish Branch are delighted to be moving the venue of its technical and social events to the Westerwood Hotel, near Cumbernauld. The Committee have made this change to improve the experience for members.

As a result of this change, we will need to be advised of attendance 7 days before the event. If you could do this online, via the link provided in the event email, that would help us manage numbers accurately.

In addition to this, we intend to make a few changes for members bringing guests to meetings. Members will be allowed a maximum of four guests per technical event. These will now need to be named, which is easy to do when registering online.

A guest will be entitled to attend up to two technical events, before being required to submit a membership application.

Finally, CPD certificates will be issued to IAT members only. If a non-member successfully joins the Institute CPD certificates will be provided for all events attended.
