| More details | Eliot has worked in the asphalt industry for 34 years in various commercial & technical roles for Breedon, Lafarge & Steelphalt. He is currently Commercial Manager at Lane Rental Services Ltd and is Vice Chairperson of the East Midlands Branch of the IAT. Cold Repave is a single pass in-situ process which recycles the binder course and base pavement layers of roads with the addition of foamed bitumen or bitumen emulsion, cement & water. Lane Rental Services Ltd, working with A-one+ and Highways England, are the first company to bring this process to the UK. Cold Repave In-Situ Recycling was carried out between June and September 2016 on three schemes on major A roads in the north of England, successfully treating in excess of 16km of carriageway. Eliot will describe the process and explain its benefits, in terms of cost savings, design life, site safety, productivity and carbon footprint to name but a few. |
